Formerly a coaching inn, Westwood Park has been lovingly developed by landlords Tich and Diane who have transformed the property into a thriving bed and breakfast, while retaining a traditional atmosphere. Since taking over in 2006, Tich and Diane have added two new double en-suite rooms, bringing the total number of rooms to seven.
Together, the couple have more than 15 years’ experience in the pub trade and customer service industry, which they have combined with their love for the local area to create a warm and homely bed and breakfast renowned for its friendly, welcoming approach to locals and guests alike.

We have been running our Bed and Breakfast for over 14 years. Since taking over the business we have had a wide range of visitors Offa’s Dyke walkers, golfers, fishing parties, bikers and many professionals in the Mid Wales area for work.

Westwood Park provides an excellent base for walkers on the popular Offa’s Dyke Footpath, Glyndwr Way and Severn Way, as well as motorcyclists or those wishing to pursue fishing, hunting and other country pastimes. After an exciting day experiencing the delights of the Powys countryside, guests can relax in the Westwood’s comfortable bar area, which has a pool table, dart board and juke box, or the quieter lounge area which is ideal for reading, chatting or simply unwinding. During summer weather guests are able to use a large beer garden, and WIFI is available free of charge.
The Westwood has been host to several motorbike meets and currently boasts 11 different pub teams which contribute to the warm, friendly atmosphere which puts bed and breakfast guests at ease and keeps them coming back time and time again.

All of the food that we prepare and cook for our guests is sourced locally as much as possible. As a small business with tight ties to the community we think that it is only right that all of the food we serve be from local farms, butchers and grocers. We are blessed to be surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside which means all of the local food we source is extremely fresh and in our opinion, you can really taste the difference.
Our breakfasts and any special request meals are all cooked in our spotless kitchen which has again been awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating.
